A Pair of Arts & Crafts High Backed Wing Armchairs. The tall upholstered backs with exaggerated Cupid’s bow shaped tops, exuberant upswept winged sides, sprung seats and swab cushions covered in a wool-work tapestry woven with camels and exotic birds amongst stylised flowers, edged with braid and studded with ornamental brass tacks. Standing on turned legs with lobed knops, terminating with squat bun feet and united by turned H-form stretchers. 55” (140 cm) high, 26” (66 cm) wide, 27” (69 cm) deep.
