The four panelled lid on iron staple hinges above a triple panelled front raised on tall stile supports. The facade richly decorated with intricate chip carving embellished with punched stars featuring C-scrolls adorning the frieze rail above lattice carved panels of repeated leafy lozenge motifs in gouge-carved bands. The muntins, base rail and stiles enriched with chipped wriggle-work. One 29 in (74 cm) high, 47 in (120 cm) wide, 20½ in (52 cm) deep.
