A Fabulous 17th Century Joined Oak One Piece Court Cupboard of impressive proportions. The top having a canopy rail elaborately carved with repeated designs enhanced by punch-work defined against a dug-out nail pitted ground and having a grid carved with initials RF SF RH IM I and date 1684 to the centre. The turned bulbous side posts flanking side panels, two doors and an arcaded centre panel enriched with geometric carving in an intricately chip-carved framework. The base section with a chip carved frieze rail above panelled central door and sides, standing on run moulded stiles 61¼ in (155 cm) high, 86 in (219 cm) wide, 23 in (58 cm) deep.
