Description
A Fabulous 17th Century Enclosed Chest of Drawers with geometric mouldings, Circa 1670. The upper section having a band of dentil moulding above a long shallow twin-panelled upper drawer and deep moulded cushion-fronted lower drawer inset with ebony veneers and adorned with decorative split spindle appliqués and fine geometric moulding. The base section having two cushion front doors with similar moulded embellishments, opening to reveal a long internal drawer and enclosed compartment below. Standing on turned bun feet, 49 in (125 cm) high, 46½ is (118 cm) wide, 25 in (64 cm) deep.
