Description
A Louis XVI Style Three Fold Dressing Screen (A/F) and A 19th Century Giltwood & Silkwork Fire Screen. The dressing screen with central arched mirror panel to the top in a ribband frame surmounted by a sprays of roses and swagged in floral garlands, the side leaves with engravings in oval beaded frames adorned with foliate ornamentation to the corners above missing base panels, 63½” (161 cm) high, 18½” (47 cm) folded width. The fire screen carved with a Rococo cartouche to the top, scrolls of acanthus either side on swept legs with voluted terminals framing a cream silk panel embroidered in silks with a bouquet of flowers (A/F), 44” (112 cm) high, 25” (64 cm) wide.
