Description
A Pair of Late 17th Century Joined Oak Back Stools attributed to South Yorkshire/Derbyshire. Each chair having two crescent shaped back bars with scalloped edge centred by a naive face mask with scrolling tresses of hair flowing out either side on a cross-hatched background, and adorned with pendant finials. 39½” (100 cm) high, 17¾” (45 cm) wide.
