The head board having two upper panels of arabesque strap-work above three recessed lozenge carved panels; one carved with initials MWH, the other dated 1672, bordered in applied dentil moulding blocks and flanked by carved Atlantes above two plain base panels. The turned foot posts having carved & gadrooned cup & cover bulbs, pegging into a triple panelled foot board on block legs with turned feet. 80 in (203 cm) high, 51½ in (131 cm) wide.
