A Fine & Rare Late Commonwealth/Early Charles II Yorkshire Parquetry Mule Chest dated 1663 and inlaid with elaborate geometric designs designs of bog oak & holly. The base drawer having holly drawer lining, moulding and knobs, with a secret drawer hidden above. The planked lid with moulded edge opening to reveal a lidded till to the right of the interior. 35½” (90 cm) in height, 48” (122 cm) wide, 22” (56 cm) deep.
