Description
A 17th Century Joined Oak Settle. The back composed of four panels gouge carved with lozenge motifs below a top rail of foliate S-scrolls. The run moulded uprights with twin scroll cut terminals. The shaped plank arms on baluster turned posts leading down to a long plank seat with a long swab cushion, standing on baluster turned legs united by peripheral rails. 41½ in (106 cm) high, 55½ in (141 cm) wide, 21 in (53 cm) deep.
