The panel back having a quadripartite design of edge moulded triangles forming a saltire cross below a domed cresting rail carved with fanned nulling and voluted scrolls either side. The uprights surmounted by turned finials. The scroll-end arms in cannon barrel supports leading down to a plank seat above serpentine cut rails on turned legs united by peripheral stretchers, 38¼” (94 cm) high, 24¼” (64 cm) wide, the seat 15¼” (39 cm) high.
