The domed broken-arch cresting rail having a moulded edge and boldly carved initials K H centred by a small whorled boss raised against a recessed ground. The back panel ornamented with a row of moulded reeds below branded ownership initials AB. The flat swept arms pierced through by the tenons of the baluster arm posts, leading down to a splayed seat on turned legs united by low peripheral stretchers, 42 ins (107 cms) high, 26½ ins (67 cms) wide.*
