The pierced top rail carved with a crown to the centre flanked by voluted scrolls sprigged with foliage, above five slender barley-twist back spindles between barley-twist side supports surmounted by acorn finials. The plank seat in a raised frame on similarly turned spiralling legs united by a conforming front stretcher and plain rails to the sides and rear, 44” (112 cm) high, the seat 17” (43.5 cm) high, 19½” (19.5 cm) wide.
