A 17th Century Boarded Oak Coffer of good colour & patination. The lid with chip carved sides and channel moulded edges, opening to reveal an open candle box to one end. The front board with replaced iron lock-plate and a band of stepped channel moulding to the base above shaped spandrels with chip carved sides. The end boards cut with scalloped arches with V carved to the apex, 22 in (56 cm) high, 44 in (112 cm) wide, 15½ in (39.5 cm) deep.
