The sliding lid and three of the sides carved with lozenge motifs framing pinwheels, with the date ‘1699’ to the fourth side. The lid enhanced with decorative punchwork, 3¾” (9.5 cm) high, 8½” (21.5 cm) wide, 6” (15 cm) deep.*
