The crested top rail carved with voluted S-scrolls and foliage above an arcaded back panel enriched with a stylised flowering plant stamped with initials IC to the centre and defined against a recessed pitted ground. The uprights and shaped spandrels carved with arabesque strap-work motifs. The down-swept arms on finely ribbed front posts leading to a planked seat and columnar legs united by peripheral stretchers, 45¾” (116 cm) high, 24” (61 cm) wide.
