The hinged lid with chip carved ends above a decorative front board carved with arabesque strapwork defined against a recessed nail-punched ground with chip carved ends. The side boards enriched with simple gouge carved lunettes. The interior lined in Victorian newsprint. 8¾” (22 cm) high, 25” (63.5 cm) wide, 15½” (39.5 cm) deep.
