Description
A Carved Golden Oak Credence Cupboard Circa 1900; an interpretation of a much earlier 15th century design [illustrated in Frederick Litchfield’s book of 1892]. The top edged in dentil moulding above a three-doored cupboard divided by zig-zag bands infilled with carved foliage to the uprights and having an attractive pierced twin ogee-arched apron raised on foliate carved baluster supports leading down to a pot board base on block feet, 42” (107 cm) high, 49” (125 cm) wide, 19” (48 cm) deep.
