An Early 17th Century Boarded Oak Coffer enriched with carving. The plank lid opening to reveal a trough to one end. The front board gouge carved with ornamentation including foliate lunettes, wrythen whorls contained in arabesque scrolls and stylised palmate motifs. The end boards cut with stepped V-shaped feet, 24¾ in (63 cm) high, 37¾ in (96 cm) wide, 16 in (41 cm) deep.
