The rectangular replacement mirror with beveled edge measuring 48 ins x 40 in (122 cm x 101.5 cm), contained in a boldly carved frame of scrolling acanthus between an inner border of ripple-moulding and moulded outer border, with a shaped pediment and flanking pieces either side carved with exuberant scrolls of foliage and bearing residual paint and gilding. 79 in (220 cm) high, 79 in (200 cm) wide.
