Description
A 19th Century Dutch Walnut & Marquetry Centre Table inlaid all over with undulating stems of flowers and foliage. The rectangular top having an oval centre panel emblazoned with an urn cascading tulips flanked by lavish scrolls of acanthus within strings of chequer inlay; the borders incorporating butterflies in roundels centring each side. The frieze accommodating a drawers, standing on square tapering legs united by a flat wavy X-form stretcher and terminating on turned bun feet, 29¼” (74 cm) high, 44½” (113 cm) wide, 33½” (85 cm) deep.
