Description
A Fine Quality 19th Century Satinwood Floor Standing Jardinière with carved & parcel gilt embellishments, in the Louis XVI Style. The rectangular tough top having a galvanised liner containing a display of artificial flowers, framed by a moulded edge above a decorative frieze adorned with swagged laurel garlands and beading, with paterae to the corners. The turned legs enriched with gilded bands of stiff leaves below the scrolled capitals and united by a beaded centre stretcher, terminating on a brass capped feet with castors, 35” (89 cm) high, 33” x 20” (84 cm x 50 cm).
