The cushion lid pierced and elaborately carved in intricate detail with a mass of scrolling vines bearing clusters of fruit centred by a reeded mount, opening to reveal a mirrored interior. The base carved with biblical allegories, 4½” (12 cm) in length. Also a 19th Century Coquilla nut egg shaped etui case pierced and embellished with small turned roundels 2¼” (5.5 cm) in length.
