Description
Two Fine Victorian Cameo Brooches: One depicting a Goddess sat by balusterading strumming a lyre with a reclining infant slumbering alongside her, approx 47 mm x 37 mm, in a gold tone frame edged with twisted wire and encircled by a fretted laurel garland and outer frame adorned with foliate sprays set with seed pearls. The other carved in high relief with allegorical figures approx 45 mm x 37 mm, set in a swivelling gold tone mounted with glazed compartment to the back in a decorative outer frame decorated with twisted wire and dotted with tiny beaded motifs.
