A Fine Quality Silver Metal Ciborium. The bucket-form bowl and raised lid intricately cast, chiselled & chased with allegorial vignettes framed by scrolling strap-work and surmounted by a flat scallop-edged knop finial depicting an angel. The short stem and round foot embellished with face masks and strapwork, the interior base decorated with Pre-Raphaelite figures, 6¼” (15.5 cm) in height.
