The coconut cup having a plain ovoid bowl with a silver rim and crescent-shaped cartouche inscribed with initialed ‘ME’, raised on a turned & stepped hardwood foot; the concave underside of which displaying fine concentric pole lathe turning lines, 5” (12.5 cm) in height. The goblet possibly elm, having a U-shaped bowl applied with contemporary silver cartouche engraved with a ‘pigeon’ crest, raised on a plain turned stem over a stepped circular foot with concave underside (broken and re-glued).
