The near square top having a circular vent pierced with looped bands centred by a star in a chip carved border with fanned motifs to the corners and imbricated petal carving to the edge moulding. The brass swing handle with knopped adornments and small acorn finials each end. The pierced sides carved with conforming designs and incorporating a hinged door enclosing a earthenware pot with side handle within. The underside of the base emblazoned with an elaborate chip carved geometric design of conjoined daisy wheels, 7½” (19 cm) high, 10” (25 cm) wide, 9” (23 cm) deep.*
