Four Staffordshire Figures: A pearlware model of ‘Falstaff’ standing on a square base, Circa 1820, decorated in the round and measuring 9” (23 cm) in height. ‘Nell’ the Cobbler’s wife, sat with pitcher & tumbler, on a square base 6¾” (17 cm) high. A pearlware figure group on a rectangular canted base painted reddish brown and entitled ‘RETURN’, 8” (20 cm) high, and another figure group; the base inscribed THE SAILORS RETURN’, 9¾” (25 cm) in height.
