A 17th Century Spanish Armchair (A/F). The rectangular leather back slung between plain uprights with foliate carved terminals and secured with large brass studs. The flat arm rests with scroll carved ends on turned posts leading to a stained pine plank seat on square legs with a decoratively carved front stretcher and serpentine edged base rails to the sides, 49 ins (125 cm) high, 24½ ins (62 cm) wide.
