One of brass having a square book rest engraved with a cross above a hinged book ledge, on adjustable ratchet supports with a pierced sheet brass base studded with ruby glass cabochons and an enamelled roundel, raised on swept bracket feet, 10¼” (26 cm) wide. The other 19th century lectern clad in maroon baize and embellished with embossed gilt brass appliqués and hvaing an engraved plaque above the book ledge inscribed ‘Souvenir du jubilé du Rd Mr Roelants 1889’, standing on foliate scroll feet 14¼” (36 cm) high, 17” (43 cm) wide.
