An 18th Century Brussels Tapestry Marriage Panel. Woven with depiction of a Queen to the centre flanked by armorial crests above banners inscribed ‘V. Plitterbwick’ and ‘D. V. Brockhus’, and surrounded by scrolls of fruit & foliage with parrots perched either side. The borders decorated with fruit, flowers & foliage with Tudor roses adorning the corners and velvet banded braid applied to the edge, 28¾” x 33” (73 cm x 84 cm).
