Description
A Good Harlequin Set of Eight ‘Fan’ or Liverpool Spindle-back Chairs attributed to Lancashire/Cheshire Circa 1790-1840. The birch top rails crested with a carved fan motif above two rows of five turned ash spindles flanked by round turned uprights with nipple finials. The rush seats on turned legs with pad feet, united by stretchers; the front stretchers with decorative bulbous turnings.
