A Pair of Late 19th Century Meissen Porcelain Figures of Malabar Musicians after originals first modelled by Meyer in 1751. Both with crossed swords in blue on unglazed base. The male with incised model number 1569 and impressed No. 44, 7½” (19 cm) high. The female with incised model number 1576 and impressed number 59, 7¼” (18.5 cm) in height.
