A Fine 16th Century Islamic Carved Bone Casket of rectangular form. The hinged lid having deep canted borders mounted with a gilt bronze hasp with pierced catch plate to the front. The moulded bone panels carved with archers, pairs of horned goats, mating beasts and lions, with a calligraphic frieze band, 4½” (11.5 cm) high, 6” (15 cm) wide, 5” (12.5 cm) deep.
