A French Carved Oak Romayne Panel, Circa 1530. The panel of interesting inverted design, with the lower half depicting a profile portrait of a woman’s head encircled by a foliate wreath with leafy spandrels on either side below it, surmounted by Renaissance motifs with an urn cascading foliage to the top, 13¼” x 8¾” (33.5 cm x 22 cm).
