A Fine 16th Century Carved & Polychromed Boxwood Panel. ‘The Adoration of the Magii’ depicting Joseph with Mary & The Baby Jesus to one side, Caspar & Melchior knelt before them offering gifts with Balthazar stood behind, and a guard to the side. The small arched panel retaining much of it’s original polychrome and gilded embellishments, 7¾” x 6” (19.5 cm x 15 cm).
