An Unusual Late 18th/Early 19th Century Painted Primitive Armchair of Quirky Design, possibly Scottish. The slightly domed top rail above four bowed splats leading into a raised integral block section to the rear of the seat. The arm-rests on poly turned posts. The seat with central planked insert, standing on four rustic legs. The whole retaining layers of green and blue/grey paintwork, 34½” (88 cm) high, 25½” (65 cm) wide.
