A Gothic Style Aumbry in the Mid 16th Century English manner (A/F). The floor standing cupboard having two pairs of centrally placed doors set one above another, pierced with crude Gothic tracery designs and flanked by tracery side panels. The doors secured by sliding bolts and hung on iron strap hinges retaining traces of residual paint-work. The framework carved with run moulding and incorporating a later serpentine-cut base rail connecting the stile feet, 68” (173 cm) high, 56” (142 cm) wide, 18” (46 cm) deep.
