Description
A Late 17th/Early 18th Century Carved & Polychrome Section of Oak Balustrading. The moulded top rail above an arcaded frieze carved with foliate spandrels and raised on the heads of six caryatids. The cherubic busts depicted with curly gilt hair flanked by foliate sprays to the their sides and rising above waisted rectangular pilasters leading down to a moulded ledge base, 26½” (67 cm) high, 55¼” (140 cm) wide.
