The top in a raised frame above three recessed horizontal frieze panels, two triple panelled doors flanked by pairs of vertical side panels, and two drawers to the base; all decorated with relief carving. The frieze and side panels carved with flowering plants, bamboo and reeds with some residual gilding. The drawers carved with a spear and sword. The doors hunk on hook & loop hinges, carved with foliate designs, 32½ in (82.5 cm) high, 36½ in (92.5 cm) wide, 20 in (51 cm) deep.
