A Rare Coquilla Nut Bug Bear Snuff Box, possibly French Prisoner of War work, late 18th/early 19th century. The richly patinated nut finely carved with a horned head bearing a bug in it’s mouth, the back having a hinged lid intricately carved with hair tied back in a clip, 3½” (9 cm) in length.
