The open back having a domed top rail with a reeded demi-lune section to the centre adorned with turned pendant finials and crested with internal scrolls, above a lower bobbin turned back bar. The uprights ornamented with split spindle appliqués and having scrolled lobe terminals. The planked seat within a raised frame to retain a swab cushion, standing on baluster knopped legs united by low peripheral stretchers, with further rails to the side and turned feet.
