A Fine 18th Century Oak Longcase Clock by James Wooley of Codnor, Derbyshire. The 30 hour movement having a 10 inch (25.5 cms) brass dial with makers name engraved in a banner to the matted centre above a silvered calendar display, encircled by a silvered chapter ring with ornate cherub & crown spandrels adorning the corners. The richly patinated case with flat-topped hood above a frieze band of ornate blind fret work and integrated side columns flanking the dial. The ogee topped trunk door edged in lip moulding, 79 ins (201 cms) in height.
