A Fine Quality 19th Century Inlaid Mahogany Sideboard stamped GILLOWS. The piece having kingwood cross-banding to the borders with fanned patera quadrants to the corners. The bowfront top centred by a conch shell with in a green stained harewood oval, and framed by a triple banded border. The central frieze drawer with cock-beaded edge above an arched ‘kneehole’ flanked by pairs of faux drawers enclosing a cellaret to one side and a cupboard to the other, standing on square tapering legs with spade feet. The original gilt brass swing handles on elaborate embossed rosette roundel mounts; with a ring handle to the cupboard door twisting to release the catch. 36¾ in (93 cm) high, 64½ in (164 cm) wide, 30 in (76 cm) deep.
