An Impressive William & Mary Walnut Oyster-Veneered Lace Box, Circa 1690. The hinged lid inlaid with curve linear stringing framed by a banded border with ovolu moulded edge. The sides fitted with gilt brass swing handles. The front with a brass lined keyhole, lock & key enclosing a blue sugar paper lined interior with lift-out tray, 5¼” (14 cm) high, 21” (53.5 cm) wide, 16¼” (41 cm) deep.
