A 19th Century French Coopered Well Bucket. The pine staved sides bound with an iron base hoop and a twine of twisted wire replacing the centre hoop. The shaped cross rail/handle surmounted by a suspension ring and morticed to raised bentwood staves either side, 25” (64 cm) high, 12¼” (31 cm) wide.
