The borders with finely pierced gallery rails depicting figures, trees and pagodas on a trellis ground. The low table form base with an intricately carved frieze of flowers & foliage, grotesque headed paw feet and peripheral stretchers, 3¾ in (9.5 cm) high, 12½ in (32 cm) wide, 7½ in (19 cm) deep.
