A Rare 19th Century Chinese Carved Ivory Scholar’s Screen. The rectangular screen carved on one side with a man in punt beneath a rocky cliff with overhanging pines, and inscribed on verso with calligraphy, 7¾ in x 4¼ in (19.5 cm x 11 cm). The hardwood stand with a pierced trellis-work frieze, fretted scrollwork sides and kylin finials either side, 10¼ in (26 cm) overall in height.
