A Fine Charles II Carved Walnut Side Chair. The tall back having a pierced cresting rail of scrolling acanthus above three elaborately pierced & carved back splats enriched with voluted scrolls, foliage and a rosette roundel to the centre, between turned ball-knopped baluster uprights surmounted by finials. The upholstered seat raised on bulbous knopped tapering legs united by a curved X-form stretcher with turned finial to the centre-point. 48½” (123 cm) high, 20½” (52 cm) wide.
