An 18th Century Oak Two-Part Chest on Stand having an oyster veneered facade inlaid with satinwood lunette bands and bordered in cross-banding (A/F). The four long drawers hung on side groove runners and fitted with brass swing handles on embellished back plates, framed by applied moulding. The later base having five barley-twist supports united by shaped plank stretchers and terminating on ball feet, 46½” (118 cm) high, 38” (97 cm) wide, 23” (60 cm) deep.
