Description
A 17th Century Child’s Boarded Oak Coffer. The lid with chip carved ends and run moulding to the front and back edge, on replacement hinges opening to reveal rebates for a candle till at one end. The front fitted with an iron hasp and lock-plate, supported on plank ends with stepped V-cut feet, 19½” (50 cm) high, 28” (71 cm) wide, 12” (31 cm) deep.
